Ribbon Hot Stamping Machine – E2-TR

Spartantics’ ribbon hot stamping machine, or E2-TR, is a fully automatic, multi-color ribbon hot stamping machine that can run at speeds of up to 7,200 impressions per hour. This ribbon hot stamping system can feed multiple rolls of different colored foil simultaneously, allowing the system to hot stamp multiple colors of foil in one pass. The most common uses of the E2-TR Ribbon Hot Stamping Machine are for hot stamping award ribbons, gift and packaging ribbon, rosette components and tapes.

WHAT IS THE RIBBON HOT STAMPING MACHINE PRINTING PROCESS?

The printing process begins on the constant tension unwind where the spool of ribbon is clamped onto the unwind bar. As the spool unwinds, a disc brake coupled with the spring tensioning arm keeps the ribbon tight as it passes through the machine. The tightness improves the accuracy of the printing process. A front to back foil feed enables the E2 to foil stamp single and multicolor impressions in one to three colors. The stamping machine can stamp the impressions as close as 1/8 of an inch apart, and this can decrease the amount of foil needed for a project. An integrated half ton die cutter can cut the ribbon in lengths from 2 to 32 inches to create the finished product.

WHAT CUTS CAN BE PRODUCED BY THE E2-TR RIBBON HOT STAMPING MACHINE?

With a maximum cutting area of 3 by 3 inches, the E2-TR machine can make a variety of different shaped cuts. Commonly produced cuts include:
